| BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Anton Stekolshikov.
I was born and grew up in Moscow in a family of professional artists.
My father is a Peoples artist of Russia, my Mother is an honorable artist
of Russia. My grandparents were also wonderful artists. My
grandfather was professor of the Pdagogicheski Institute in Moscow.
Thus, I have the right to be proud in representing 3rd generation in the
family of Artists. Of course, such inhritance contributed a great
deal to my development as an artist, a professional artist.
I emphasize the term professional, at the present there are many non-professionals
among the artists. They do not have a chance to learn about art in
the very early years of childhood, who did not have a chance to become
"fanatically inclined" in my favorite profession.
In my case, I could hardly become anyone other than an artist.
Thus, spiritual foundation in my field of study was my family from the
vfery early years of my life. In 1978 I began my studies at the Moscow
Art High School, Surikov Institute, and grad in 1985. Then became
a student of the Moscow State Art Institure "D.I. Surikov", Russian Academy
of Fine Arts.
I served 2 years in the army, 1895-87, and in 87 started my studies
at the Surikov Institute in the group of Portrait painting under the well
known Russia artist Ilia Sergevich Glazunov. In 1993 I graduated
with a Red Diploma (with honors). My Diploma theme was "Christening
in the Returned Cathedral". At that time I participated in many exhibitions
and joined the Moscow Artists Union.
In 1985 I was awarded a diploma of the first degree of the Academy
for my work in the Exposition dedicated to the 40th Anniversary of
World War 2.
I participated in the framework of the All Union Competition" devoted
to the theme "Letters from the Front"

Most important in my works
are the image itself,
sense, exactly, soul and harmony of various parts. I
try to portray my feeling with feeling my onlooker.

Oil paint. They are giving me
fantastic and rich possibility.

Realism.

I am from artist
family. When I was 3, Iíve ws crazy about painting.
Beyond all manner of doubt , I was to become a professional
artist.

CAREER?)
I am happy to looking
the pictures (works of genius) of old and modern
school of art. THE GREAT ARTIST are visual my
teachers, for me itís not interesting about theirs character,
their bios; for me the important thing is simply their genius art.

FOR YOUR ART?)
In my Art , number one favorite is nature. I like
conditions of nature: morning, early in the morning,
sunshine, nignt, early in the morning, sunshine, rain,
thunderstorm, cloud, threatening cloud, different
condition of the water, different
lights,trees,sky,wind,hazy,gloom. |
