Sergei Alexeyevich Kirilov was born in Moscow in 1960. In 1978 he 
completed
his studies at the Moscow Secondary Art School of the Moscow State Art
Institute named after V. I. Surikov. From 1978 to 1984 he studied at 
the
Institute, in the studio of Professor Dmitry Konstantinovich Mochalsky,
Member of the USSR Academy of Arts, People's Artist of the USSR. In 
1985 he
was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR. Since 1981 he
participated in more than 20 exhibitions all-Union, all-Russian, Moscow
exhibitions, etc. Since 1987 he has held eleven one-man shows. Since 
1994
the artist receives a State scholarship from the Government of the 
Russian
Federation.

Works by Sergei Kirilov are on display at state museums of Russia and
Australia and in private galleries and collections in Russia, 
Australia,
Austria, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, 
Poland,
South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, the USA and other countries.

                      Personal exhibition in Design-
Center. The children in the school are learning
history by textbooks on history, and included with the 
great masters were reproductions of my own artwork
from my historical themed pictures.
